General Information
Beli Iskar – Borovets area is by far the most picturesque and exclusive ski resort in Bulgaria. All the developments and hotels are set tastefully amongst the forests and areas around the resort itself, so you are never very far from the lifts and ski slopes.
There are ski runs for every level from beginner to advanced, as well as extensive cross country tracks. For those requiring tuition, there is a very reputable and established ski school which operates during the winter season.
The resort also has a growing reputation as a summer destination for both tourists and locals. Activities such as mountain trekking, hunting and fishing are popular in the summer months and the resort is close to some
beautiful lakes and forests. In addition, a new road to Greece is in planning stage which passes close to Borovets.
